About Body Care Wellness

Sleep is not a supplement question. It is mostly a routine you can measure — light, timing, food, and how the day ends. We write about that, plainly.

What this site is

Body Care Wellness is a small editorial site. We publish plain-language articles on sleep hygiene, circadian rhythm, nutrition for energy, work-related fatigue, and healthy life years. The tone is intentionally grounded: no detoxes, no transformations, no claims that a single food or habit will change your life in a week.

It is written for adults in Estonia who want practical guidance rather than product pitches. If a page says something useful, you should be able to try it on a Tuesday evening without buying anything first. That bar decides what gets published here and what does not.

Who writes it

Content is written and edited by contributors with a background in nutrition and health writing, with a focus on public health guidance rather than clinical treatment.

We do not claim to be doctors, and we do not present our guidance as medical advice. Where national or international guidance exists, we lean on it and say which kind of source we followed. That means the advice you read here usually has a paper trail behind it rather than a personal opinion in front of it.

How content is researched

Each article is built on publicly available material: Estonian and Nordic dietary guidance, workplace health recommendations, national statistics, and general nutrition and sleep science. We cite categories of sources rather than individual studies, because the goal is practical guidance for a general reader, not a literature review. Where guidance is uncertain or contested, we say so on the page instead of smoothing it over.

A typical page starts from the question a reader actually asks — why the afternoon crash arrives at three, what to eat before a late shift — then checks that question against the guidance above and writes the answer in ordinary sentences.

How often we update

We review and update pages when the underlying guidance changes, which is usually every year or two. If a recommendation shifts, we adjust the relevant page rather than leaving two versions of the truth on the site. We do not quietly change facts; if you spot a page that looks out of date, please tell us through the contact page and we will look at it.

Where the guidance comes from

Estonian and Nordic dietary guidance for everyday eating patterns.

Workplace health recommendations on shifts, breaks and recovery time.

National statistics on sleep and healthy life years, read as context rather than as a diagnosis.

General nutrition and sleep science, translated out of the abstract and into ordinary weeks.

What we do not cover

We do not diagnose sleep disorders, treat medical conditions, or provide individualized medical advice. If you have a diagnosed condition, take medication, or have persistent symptoms, a doctor is the right person to consult.

Our content is general and designed to sit alongside clinical care, not replace it. That line matters more than it looks: it is the reason a page here will tell you to ask your doctor rather than tell you what to take.

No diagnosis

Sleep disorders and clinical symptoms belong with a doctor, not with an article.

No treatment plan

We describe habits and food patterns. We do not adjust medication or ongoing care.

No individual advice

Everything here is written for a general reader, so it cannot account for your own history.

What we sell

Nothing at all.

There are no products, no supplements, no affiliate recommendations, and no sponsored placements on this site. If that ever changes, it will be clearly labeled at the top of the affected page. Until then, assume any product you see advertised near our content is not ours.

Editorial independence

We write about nutrition and sleep because the topic is useful, not because anyone pays us to. If we link to an outside resource, it is because we think it helps the reader, not because of a partnership. Any future sponsorship would be disclosed clearly and would not change what a page recommends.

Nothing sold

No store, no cart, no discount codes. The only thing a page can ask of you is your attention.

No paid placement

Brands cannot pay to appear in a recommendation or to be described more kindly.

Labeled first

If the situation above ever changes, the notice goes at the top of the affected page, in plain words.

How to reach us

If you have a question, a correction, or a topic suggestion, use the contact page. We read everything, though we cannot always reply to each message individually. Suggestions for future pages are genuinely useful; several of our current articles started as reader questions.

The site is run from Viljandi. If your question touches on something you are already treating with a clinician, bring it to them first — we are happy to point you at the reading, not to stand in for the appointment.

Common questions

Three things readers ask most often before they trust a page.

Is any of this medical advice?

No. It is general editorial guidance based on public health information. For anything personal or clinical, talk to a doctor.

Does the site recommend any products?

No products, no supplements, no affiliate links. If that ever changes, it will be labeled clearly at the top of the affected page.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes, via the contact page. Reader suggestions regularly shape what we publish.

Where the guidance begins

If this page answered your question about who writes here, the next useful step is the reading itself. Sleep and recovery is the natural start: it sets the vocabulary the other guides borrow, and it is the chapter readers come back to most.
